About Me
My name is Samira. I come to this work wearing many hats: nurse, holistic nutritionist, clinical homeopath and root cause practitioner, but most importantly I've personally walked the path of a cancer diagnosis in 2012 and had a profound health transformation.
This profound shift in understanding that our physical bodies are expressions of what is going on inside of us at the emotional and mental level has brought me to the work I do today.
Yes, good nutrition and lifestyle habits matter because they can often support our physical body, but sustainable health and vitality needs more than just these things.
Through my own illness, I learned that the missing piece to true health is the state of our emotional and mental health (often called psycho-emotional landscape) based on our learned patterns and lived experiences. In fact, every single one of life experiences are either stored in the body or relased. When they are released, ideally you are freed of their "charge", but the stored emotions may end up showing up as as symptoms or progress to disease.
In our society, most people are often just managing the physical symptoms, unaware or ignorant of the psycho-emotional landscape that may have contributed to the symptoms they are experiencing.
My approach to health has transpired out of everything I’ve learned and most importantly everything I have lived.
It’s a gentle, whole-body approach that looks beneath symptoms to understand what the body is communicating — physically and emotionally — and to support meaningful, lasting change.
I believe that real healing doesn’t come from fixing the body — it comes from listening to it.
