The Deeper Emotional Side of Cancer

I work with people navigating cancer—supporting them emotionally by guiding them to exploring the deeper patterns that may be influencing their health. 

This work is grounded, practical, and tailored to each individual situation.

The exploration of the emotions behind a cancer diagnosis are tied to everything you have ever experienced from the beginning of your life whether you were aware of it or not-the conscious and the subconscious.

All experiences good or bad are both emotional and physical. The physical is not separate from the emotional.

The foundation of the work I do with clients is on the basis that emotions are like balls of  energy in motion.

When you experience an emotion such as anger, grief, sadness, even happiness. It is handled in two ways: it's either expressed and released or suppressed and stuffed down into the body. The positive emotions are usually easily expressed and released. But a lot of the time, what happens is that with the negative emotions, we don't feel safe to express them or share them and they get stuffed down into our physical body. This suppression over time can get us into trouble with our health and show up as dis-ease.   

The opportunity to sit down together and explore your personal emotional landscape and everything that has happened to you can be such a important part of your healing journey. For many of us, we have never had the chance to take inventory of our lives until now. Facing a illness like cancer is often that opportunity because we are at a crossroads to perhaps look at our lives and choose differently. 

Please note that doing this type of exploration does impede on any other healing modalities or treatments you choose. 

One-on-One Sessions

This work is confidential and personal. 

Together, we gently explore patterns, experiences, and internal responses that have shaped who you are—creating space for insight, understanding, and healing alongside your medical care. It’s a chance for you to also share your unique story. 

 

First Step

Before beginning this work, we start with a short, complimentary phone conversation. This allows us to connect, discuss what you’re looking for, and see whether this approach is a good fit for you.
 

What to Expect

We typically work together over 5–6 one-on-one sessions
Sessions are held in a safe, confidential space, either virtually or in-person
Session length may vary based on the focus of each visit
The first session is longer (approximately 1.5–2.5 hours), allowing time for a deeper exploration of your story

I’m honoured to support you on your cancer journey.

This work comes from two core experiences: my own journey with cancer and my training as a mind-body cancer coach.

My work is fundamentally based on the concept that your body is always trying to move towards healing-even if you may not see it. When I work with you, we are looking at all the ways that we can support it physically, mentally and emotionally to get there.
