Uncovering the Emotional Roots of Cancer

I help people understand the emotional aspect of their cancer.

Cancer is a dreaded word that usually triggers a lot of fear and anxiety for people.

If you've been diagnosed with cancer. I want you to know that I see you and have walked in your shoes.

Back in 2012, I too received a cancer diagnosis that set me on a major healing journey I never imagined.

What I want you to know is that no matter what the doctors have told you about your diagnosis or what you know about cancer, there is another perspective to consider that I hope you will think about. This way of thinking about cancer and any other chronic illness for that matter, may be very different than the way you've thought about

My own cancer journey taught me a major lesson- that healing cancer or any chronic disease is primarily an inside job. That doesn't mean you ignore good nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits. Supporting the body is important but, I would say that based on my own direct experience with cancer and the 20+ years of working in the health space, what matters most is to address the "deep psycho-emotional terrain.

What do I mean by psycho-emotional terrain? What I'm referring to is

Two ways I can support you

Nutrition & Lifestyle Health Coaching

Support for health issues, digestive issues, lifestyle patterns, and other health concerns by addressing underlying root causes.

Cancer Root Cause Session

A dedicated space for individuals navigating cancer who wish to explore the emotional and psychological layers of their experience.

My Guiding Principles

1. The Body Communicates Through Symptoms
Physical symptoms are often signals that something in our lives—physically or emotionally—needs attention. Rather than viewing symptoms as problems to silence, this work begins by listening to what the body may be trying to express.

2. Health Is Shaped by Many Layers
Nutrition and lifestyle matter, but they are only part of the picture. Stress, emotional patterns, life experiences, and the nervous system all influence how the body functions and heals.

3. Meaningful Change Happens Gradually
Lasting health shifts rarely happen through quick fixes. When the body feels supported and understood, it begins to respond over time—allowing deeper and more sustainable change to take place.

A GENTLE — BUT PARTICIPATORY — APPROACH

This work is gentle, but it isn’t passive.

I offer guidance, structure, and support — but real change requires participation. Healing isn’t something I do to you; it’s something we work toward together.

My role is to help you understand what your body is asking for and to support you through the process. Your role is to be willing to listen, reflect, and make the changes that feel necessary — at your own pace, and in a way that’s sustainable.
