A 16-week roadmap to a stronger, healthier heart: without diets, guesswork, or complicated plans
Maybe you asked your doctor what you can do to get healthier, and all you were told was to just "take the meds, eat healthy and exercise". Since getting this news about your heart health, life has become scary and confusing, and you feel like a ticking time bomb.
You worry you may not see your kids or grandkids grow up because at any time you will drop dead of a heart attack or stroke.
Food is no longer fun and you’re constantly obsessing about your choices and the possibility that something you eat will set your heart over the edge.
You scoured the internet and there are different versions of what it means to follow a “heart healthy diet”
Low fat or low carbs?
No sugar or low sugar?
What about fruit, is that allowed?
Now you’re more confused then ever!
You’re trying your best to eat right and lately that means having to cook two separate meals: one for you and another for your family because there is no way your family would eat the bland food you’re currently eating.
Despite all your efforts to fix your diet, your recent bloodwork isn’t getting “better” according to your doctor. You feel discouraged, you don’t want to be on these meds forever because you can tell they have side effects.
Did you know that heart disease is the leading cause of death in women?
This even impacts seemingly healthy women with no symptoms which is why it is often dubbed "the silent killer".
And If you’ve already had a heart attack, the chances of having another one is also very high.
In some ways it's shocking that despite all our medical and pharmaceutical advancements, when it comes to heart disease, the numbers continue to climb year after year.
Ever wonder why?
Yes, there are the common medical conditions like obesity and diabetes that can lead to heart disease. But at the same time, not everyone who ends up with heart disease has these conditions. So, what are the other factors that lead to heart disease?
It turns out that a huge driver of heart disease is the inflammation in the body. Inflammation is how your body protects you from any kind inside and outside stress, but if it goes on to long it can start to cause damage in the body- such as damage to the inside of your blood vessels.
My drive to help others with heart disease began a few years ago, when my mom had a heart attack—something none of us saw coming, especially since she didn’t have any of the usual risk factors.
As a holistic nutritionist and nurse, I knew that my mom’s road to recovery needed more than just medication and visits to the doctor—it needed a whole-body reset that included looking at her nutrition, lifestyle habits, and stress. Together, we focused on all these key areas of her life where she was possibly living out of balance.
With time we rebuilt her confidence in her body. Step by step, she not only recovered, but started feeling better than she had in years. She even got off all her heart meds. That experience deepened my belief that true healing happens when we support the body, mind, and heart as one.
My mother’s transformation to a healthier version of herself confirmed what I already knew-that heart disease is more than just a medical diagnosis. She was my first success story and not my last.
This is the story behind my HeartFlow Women 50+ Roadmap - a heart health reset program designed for women over 50 who want to help their heart thrive without restrictive diets, guesswork or complicated health plans.

Hi I’m Samira and for most of my adult life I’ve been fascinated with what it means to be a healthy and thriving human being.
I’ve been in the health and wellness space for 20+ years. For many years, my role was as a nurse in the healthcare system, in both Ontario and British Columbia, working in various nursing roles. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into the true burden of disease—not just the physical symptoms, but the emotional toll, the strain on relationships, the impact on self-worth, and every other part of a person’s life.
I longed to know more about how I could support others to prevent disease or at least lessen its burden.
So I went back to school and got trained as a Holistic Nutritionist and Clinical Homeopath. I also knew that the emotional work was a key in the healing journey so I also completed a Root Cause Practitioner certification from the A
I have also had my own health challenges and have had direct experience with a serious illness. My focus on heart health came about when my own mother had a heart attack and I soon realized that I wanted to focus on helping others dealing with this challenge.
My work to support you in your journey to better heart health comes with both the clinical-expertise and holistic strategies.
My goal is to get you to a better place than when we first started working together, with you as an active participant in your healing journey.
